Demand legislation to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace

Twenty-two percent of women garment workers are sexually harassed at work or on the way. In the four years from 2014 to 2017, more than 17,300 rape cases have been filed. But only 673 criminals have been punished. Gender Platform Bangladesh has demanded legislation to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace and in educational institutions as directed by the High Court.
